I think it’s safe to say this is a wedding that none of us will ever forget! For many reasons, but the main one being that we all got to spend an amazing week together in paradise before Shae and Ben tied the knot. It was interesting traveling at the onset of a world crisis, but I think we all had the mindset that we would put our worries aside to celebrate with Ben and Shae and celebrate we did. Snorkeling, deep sea fishing (if you can call it that when you don’t actually catch anything), paddleboarding, and lots of relaxing beach time. Some of us braved jellyfish stings, seasickness and sunburns, but it was all worth it for the laughs we had.
Then came the wedding day which was the most beautiful day a photographer could ask for. Overcast just enough to make beautiful lighting for portraits. I was thrilled! It rained on both of Shae’s sisters’ wedding days, so it wouldn’t have felt right if we didn’t get a few drops which only happened right during the ceremony. The rest of the evening was amazing, we had the most beautiful sunset and then danced our butts of the rest of the night (some of us more than others – I’m talking about you Ben).
Shae – I’m so happy you got to have your dream wedding and that I could be there with you. You looked absolutely stunning and I’m so happy for you.

Finally, I have to give props to the amazing staff at the Azul Beach Resort for not only setting up such a beautiful wedding, but also treating us like family while we were there. It was an amazing experience!
