This was a special engagement session for me. Not only is Taylor’s mom one of my best friends, but I’ve known Taylor since she was about 12 which is pretty crazy to think about. She and Jeff have been dating for the last 6 years or so, so I’ve had the opportunity to see them grow closer together. It’s pretty rare to see a couple start dating so young that you just know will end up together, but Taylor and Jeff are that couple. It also doesn’t hurt that they look so good together. Seriously, how STUNNING is Taylor?! And she’s just as kind as she is beautiful. Both her and Jeff are so sweet and they’re the perfect match!
We did their engagement session just outside of Las Vegas in Lake Mead. I lived in the desert for 9 years and didn’t appreciate the beauty of the desert nearly as much as I should have, so I was so excited that Jeff and Taylor wanted to take their engagement photos in the desert. Considering Las Vegas is in the desert you wouldn’t think it would be so hard to find “desert scenery” but it was. We finally found one cactus so I had to throw in a few cactus photos for that desert feel. I may or may not have touched the cactus in the process. Totally worth it though.
